So sorry, time for a another quick pictorial. The magical stuff at Blue Hills is still to come. Don’t give up yet.
For now, bite these small visual morsels: Above, Stone Barn’s chicken heart done yakitori style. Below, House cured berkshire salami, loin, bologna. Lamb marrow with hudson valley sturgeon caviar on a bed of thyme.
At this time, the sun began to weaken its hold and the misting clouds started to shadow the entire barn building. Alas, with just shaking hands, the photo quality began to severely degrade. And no, I’m not a photographer so…
Shortly after the marrow came at the one hour mark, the mains finally started arriving. As a solo diner, long meals can be a bit tenuous, but the staff knew the only reason a man would survive a 3 hour degustation menu that night was for the love of eats, and they treated that fella with the utmost respect.
Good times.
