I had no clue who Ms. Aida is/was until last week. That is to say, I don’t have cable, and apparently I’m a shitty foodie. But yah, she read my blog. ZOMG, squee:


Naturally, the right thing to do that morning was to google her. As far as I’m concerned, if Foodnetwork Humor makes fun of you, you’ve basically in the big league. Addendum: I do remember seeing a Foodcrafters promo and thinking: yah, this is the only watchable show on The Cooking Channel.

This post could’ve been about Sushi Ichi in S. Pasadena (awesome folks), Oh My Pan in Rosemead (Hi Jonathan!), Quan Hy’s amazing freakin’ bowl of stank ass goat noodle (Hi Diem,! Wisited last night, but your mommy says you have better things to do), or Shaanxi Gourmet’s ambitious new plans. Alas, the day job pays, and this doesn’t.

In the meantime, if you’re looking for more SGV awesomeness, may I suggest Jack Chen’s restaurant blog? It’s all in freakin’ Chinese, but Google Translate is pretty awesome these days.
