Despite recently winning a writing award for her work at Creative Loafing, Besha Rodell doesn’t seem to be winning the hearts of LA noshers and readers.

Then again, her first piece arrived at the LA Weekly less than 4 months ago. Perhaps it’s still too soon? Personally, I’m still gushing over the fact The Guardian has an online tag named “Chinese food and drink“. Clearly, the English is still writing more interesting English than the Yanks.
